Industries
The advanced manufacturing industry uses innovative technologies to improve products and processes. These technologies include Internet of Things (IoT), sensors, automation, machine learning, real-time data, and more. The adoption of these new technologies in manufacturing is called “Industry 4.0” and it’s creating new jobs which companies need fill out relatively fast. Skilled labor is needed to operate, maintain, and repair advanced equipment. Our program can help you qualify for entry-level positions in this industry and grow your career in advanced manufacturing.
Companies in the semiconductor industry engage in the design and fabrication of semiconductors and semiconductor devices, such as transistors and integrated circuits. Semiconductors can be found in most of the electronic devices we use on a daily basis, from vehicles to mobile devices. The semiconductor industry is a huge and important sector in the world’s economy and in the U.S. Some of the major players in this industry include Intel, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), Nvidia, Samsung, and others. Our upskilling program prepares individuals to qualify for entry-level jobs in semiconductor fabs and continue advancing in their career.
The aerospace industry is one of the largest and most powerful industries in the United States, it supplies five markets: military aircraft, missiles, space, commercial airliners, and general aviation. The U.S. aerospace sector is considered the largest in the world and is the main supplier of both military and civil aerospace hardware to the rest of the world. The careers in this industry include engineers, scientists, and technicians. Our Upskilling Program prepares you to qualify for entry-level positions in aerospace sub-sectors such as: manufacturing, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), and alternative aviation fuel, among others.
In telecommunication, broadband is is the wide-bandwidth data transmission used in fast internet connections. Broadband uses a broad range of technologies to provide higher data rate access to the Internet. Employment opportunities to install, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed broadband systems received support from the U.S. federal government under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and it’s expected to create about 200,000 jobs for broadband deployment. Many of these jobs do not require college or advanced degrees. Our Upskilling program prepares individuals to succeed in entry-level positions in the broadband industry.
