Industry 4.0 Upskilling Program
Our upskilling program is a certification program developed by Baltu Technologies to rapidly upskill individuals in Industry 4.0 standards that will allow them to qualify for higher paying jobs, and it also increases the hiring pool for employers in a wide variety of industries.
Our program provides affordable and accessible modular micro-certifications for Industry 4.0 training. These credentials are stackable and enable an entry-level worker to rapidly gain the skills and knowledge to operate, maintain, and repair advanced manufacturing equipment while on-the-job
How it works
Baltu Technologies is a certified training provider of the Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA). We work with several industry partners that use robotics and automation for their operations and are eager to employ entry-level workers and provide them with on-the-job training in order to advance them to high-skilled positions.
When an individual is interested in participating in our program, they are matched with an employer, get hired, and start the training program at the employer’s facility (or at a designed training location) where they work to earn their certificates.
What are micro-credentials?
Micro-credentials are certificates that focus on a specific skill set and topic. Our stackable Industry 4.0 Associate Certifications were developed by the Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA). These certifications are recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor and hundreds of private companies. SACA micro-certifications are industry agnostic, meaning they provide Industry 4.0 principles independent of specific equipment, geographic regions, or companies.
Micro-credentials are a stepping stone towards earning a larger Specialist certification. Specialist certificates would be equivalent to what a student traditional receives through completing coursework at a community college or technical school.
Instead of taking a crash course and letting one exam determine an individual’s career, we help workers master one topic at a time while earning credentials that allow them to progress their knowledge and learning at their own pace.
We understand that there are multiple barriers to entry for accessing specialized training and education. We’ve developed our program to help alleviate these barriers. Our training program is available to anyone that is qualified to work. Companies pay for the training of the individual, training takes place at the work-site and not at a school, and we don’t require you to study out of a textbook. We deliver all learning through mobile devices so individuals can earn micro-credentials at their own pace while at work or at home.
Our learning modules use the latest available technology to enhance the learning experience, using text, images, videos and augmented reality (AR) enabling the learner to interact with equipment and have a deeper understanding of its real-world applications. Individuals will be able to apply their knowledge by using SuperDoc to perform advanced tasks while on-the-job such as operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment and machines.
Why are we doing this?
We are a social impact company committed to use technology for social good. We aligned our mission with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal N° 8 – Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all – and our goal is to upskill 25 million workers by 2030.
